MOTORCYCLE TRAILS... Sept 29th - Oct 2nd 2016... RIDE 3 DAYS!!!


When you arrive Thursday afternoon, you will find our Registration Booth in the front lobby of the Sierra Nevada Lodge (164 Old Mammoth Road in Mammoth Lakes, CA)… Registration will be open 4-6 pm… Stay and enjoy some refreshments at the newly renovated "Duke's Bar" inside the Lodge!

You’re room reservation is available Thursday after 4pm at the Sierra Nevada Lodge. Late arrivals are accommodated during breakfast Friday Morning… schedules will be available when you arrive.


  •  All Bikes/Quads/SideBySide's must begin each day’s riding with a FULL tank of fuel.
  • Plan to ride 60-70 miles between fueling locations.


  • Be prepared for any weather condition as the Sierra Nevada Mountains can change from sunny to stormy and a moments notice.
  • We will be transporting your luggage between Mammoth & Hawthorne on Friday and Sunday Mornings- When you arrive to these locations your luggage will be waiting for you.

USDA Forest Service requires we do a Technical inspection in the following areas:

  • DMV licensed (Street Licensed, Red or Green Stickered)
  • Proof of Vehicle Insurance (min. Liability Only Policy)
  • Spark Arrestor
  • A Working or Non-Working Headlight (No Race Plates)
  • Kick Stand for Motorcycles (can't lean em on tree's)
  • Clean & Free of Debris (clean bike)
  • Quiet Bike (.92 decibels)… this year not enforced by Sierra Safari. A voluntary sound check station may be available in Hawthorne. Future events will require a passing sound check. Although the Sierra Safari will not be enforcing the standard for the current event… you are riding on government land and could be subject to enforcement by the governing land agencies.


  •  Breakfast
    • Provided Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
  • Lunch
    • Friday Tail Lunch is provided.
    • Saturday Lunch will be on your own... bring $
    • Sunday will be a shorter day of riding. You will return to Mammoth for Lunch on your own.
  • Dinner
    • Friday and Saturday night Banquet dinners are provided.


  • We will NOT be providing an Air filter Service Station, 
  • Bring pre-prepped air filters in a Zip-Lock bag for your vehicle.

  • ***IMPORTANT***

    • DEAD ENGINES till 8:30am each day! Let’s be respectful of our neighbors so they look forward to our return!!
    • NO RIDING IN OR AROUND TOWN!! You WILL be ticketed if you are not street legal. There is no riding permitted in the towns or highways unless you are on the pre-approved route during the event.  Please do not risk the Sierra Safari’s relationships for future events!!
